How to crochet a rope to decorate a sweater. Crocheted bead strand. How to knit a beaded crocheted rope: master class

Lariat "Equality"

Two-color rope with a smooth transition from color to color. The classic combination of light and dark shades makes it possible to wear it in any situation.

We will need:

1. 2 colors of Czech beads No. 10 (in this version, white and transparent with a gray colored center).
2. threads for knitting iris, also in two colors to match the color of the beads.
3. crochet hook No. 1.0.
4. needle for beading.
5. assembly tool.
6. accessories for assembly and decoration. I also used two beads braided with beads for decoration.

The peculiarity of this lariat is the set of beads. I started casting on white thread from the darker part in the pattern and kept the dark beads to a minimum. When we have typed the transition, we select only as many white beads as needed. Next, we take the dark threads and assemble everything completely in reverse - first only dark beads, then we begin the transition with light beads according to the pattern, but from the bottom up. The transition set on light and dark threads should be the same length. I braided the beads using a mosaic.

This lariat is 170cm long, where the transition as a whole is 40cm, and the plain parts are 65cm, respectively. You can calculate how many beads to collect yourself: measure the rows by 1 cm and count the number of beads, then measure these beads in cm and multiply by the required length of the rope (or part of it). This is how many cm you need to gain.
This rope has a diameter of 6 beads and is knitted in a half-column. We start knitting from the light part, because... on it the set without transition turns out to be extreme. At the beginning of knitting the rope and at the end, we need to knit a pin for further fastening of beads and accessories. Having knitted 3-4 rows from the beginning of the rope, insert the straight end of the pin into the middle of it, and leave the hooked end under the knitting. Then you need to make several turns around the pin and clamp it with pliers (so that the pin does not jump out of the product).

And we continue to knit. We knit the transition on a light thread. Here we need to make a knot and switch to a dark thread. The knot is made from the inside. And we begin to knit the dark thread in the same way as we started knitting, while we hide the knot inside. During the knitting process, the tails will hide in the plait. We tie the dark part of the lariat, not forgetting to insert a pin at the end. Just the other way around: first we wrap the curved end of the pin and clamp it, then we knit about 1 cm and finish. We decorate the ends of the lariat with balls and a toggle lock.

This example of a diagram is for a small transition, about 20 centimeters. For the light part, we start the set from the top right, and for the dark part - from the bottom left.

From beads you can make both light and airy things and massive-looking, dense strands that amaze those around you with the beauty of the intricate bead pattern. You can decorate your wardrobe with these strands, using a piece of art as a belt or necklace, or incorporate them into more complex beaded jewelry.

The first impression that a beaded strand makes is the incredible complexity of the weaving. Yes, this is a complex technique that uses crochet techniques along with beading. However, by studying our video tutorials and carefully following the actions of the instructors, you will learn how to perform this complex weaving and amaze everyone with the amazing beauty of your creations.

We offer a brief overview of video tutorials on creating harnesses:

A string of beads.

Actually, the purpose of this video is to dispel the fears of beginners. Yes, starting is difficult! The hooks are thin, the beads are small, everything gets tangled and scattered... Is this a familiar story?! To begin with, very briefly for those who have never tried it at all: a beaded rope is crocheted from beads previously placed on a warp thread.

Then there are the subtleties: the combination of bead size and thread thickness, the choice of hook size, the skill of reading, and then creating patterns for bead strands... But you have to start somewhere, right?! Having some learning experience, I can say that too much information at once for a beginner is also a problem. But you will learn how to weave a rope.

Crocheted bead strand.

In today's video we'll talk about how to crochet a rope of beads and what we need for this:

  • It is preferable to use Czech or Japanese beads;
  • It is advisable to use cotton thread;
  • a hook, instead of which you can use a regular needle;
  • a coil of wire;
  • lock, connecting ring, caps.

Before we start knitting a bead rope, we need to put our beads onto a spool of thread, 10 beads in a row. We make 10 air loops on the thread with a crochet hook and close them into a ring. We advance 10 beads and begin to knit our flagellum

Master class on how to crochet a rope of beads.

We will take Czech beads, number 7, but you can take any other one. First we make air loops, we need 9 of them, we close our loops into a ring. After this, we will need to weave a bead into each loop.

After the work has been done, we place the working thread on the hook, move the beads away from the working thread on the hook and pull it through two loops, making the second row of our flagellum. A prerequisite is that the beads in the row are perpendicular to each other. We do the same work several times. This bracelet can be a great decoration for you.

Harness in a single crochet.

To work you will need:

  • Czech beads 10;
  • Jeans or Canarias threads;
  • hook 0.75 or 0.5;
  • beading needle;
  • a piece of thin sewing thread 15 cm.

First, we will knit several rows without the beads themselves, we will do this so that our flagella are smooth and beautiful. You can find knitting patterns on the Internet. Let's start weaving the rope. To begin, we make a sliding loop, take the hook and insert it under the thread, while grabbing the working thread that goes to the ball.

Tourniquet in a column.

Russian way. In the video we will talk about knitting in a column, as well as the difference between a column and a half-column, and we will talk about knitting techniques. Let's start the master class. The difference between a column and a half-column is only visual. For a half-column, the beads are laid horizontally, and for a column - at an angle. Both methods are good in their own way.

For work we took Czech number ten beads, 0.5 hook, thread. We start each rope knitted with a column with a chain of air loops, and the number of air loops in the chain is 2 times less than the circumference of the rope we are knitting.

Video lesson:

Beaded monochromatic rope.

To make it, you will need beads, threads matching its color, a bead needle, a 1.5 hook and scissors. Using a needle, beads are threaded onto the thread for its entire length. We make two loops on the thread with a crochet hook, after which we pull eight beads to them and continue to make air loops, grabbing one bead into each of them.

This is how the first row of beads turns out, which closes in a circle. Next, the second row is knitted from the next eight beads. This braiding of the rope continues until complete readiness. Each row uses the same number of beads.

Patterned strand of beads.

There are many patterns for knitting ropes, both black and white and colored. There is a special computer program for creating such circuits. You can use existing circuits or use the program to develop new ones to your liking. Depending on what color is provided in the pattern, beads of the required color are selected.

The instructor explains in detail how to use the diagrams and calculate the number of beads needed for work. All rows of beads are knitted from left to right. When creating a bracelet, you can accurately determine the number of beads of each color.

A strand of beads in half-columns and columns.

For those who are learning how to crochet a rope of beads, two popular weaving techniques are offered - half-column and column. Using the half-column method, strands of small diameter are knitted, up to 10 beads in a row. The thread is matched to the color of the beads or serves as a contrasting background with it.

Using a needle, beads are threaded onto a thread, after which the needle can be removed. At the beginning, two air loops are knitted, 8 beads are moved towards them, and knitting with air loops begins, one bead is knitted into each of them. It turns out to be a neat chain, which we close in a circle.

A string of beads.

Let's look at how to crochet a rope of beads in accordance with the diagram, resulting in a product with a multi-colored geometric pattern. The required colors of beads are selected according to the drawing. In addition, we will need:

  • denim threads;
  • needle with a wide eye;
  • hook 0.8;
  • end switches for the ends of the harness;
  • rings;
  • magnetic lock.

You can choose a pattern for knitting a rope on the Internet. The patterns are very different; we will consider a simple version of a full harness of 235 rows. Let's get an American strand of beads. As you move towards the central rows, each row is completed with one more bead, and after passing through the center, we begin to remove one bead at a time, ensuring a narrowing.

Video lesson:

Bead strand in a half-column.

The master class is conducted for greater clarity on large beads and thick threads; a correspondingly large hook is taken. It describes in detail how to get the first loop on a thread. This loop is a ring on which as many double crochets are knitted as we need beads for the full thickness of the strand.

Then the ring is tightened, and all the columns form a neat flower. The beads are pulled up and knitting using them begins. After knitting to the end of the row, you get a neat ring of beads.

Video lesson:

I present to your attention a master class on knitting beaded ropes.

To begin with, there are photos of products that you can create for yourself or your loved ones using the technique of crocheting ropes.

To learn the technique, I suggest using:

  1. Beads 10/0 or 8/0 in two colors (preferably contrasting).
  2. White cotton threads (like Iris and similar, suitable in thickness). It is more convenient to learn on white threads, since the loops are clearly visible on them.
  3. Hook 1.25 – 1.75 depending on the thickness of the threads and the size of the beads.
  4. Needle.

We string beads onto a thread, alternating colors, approximately 25-30 cm.

We knit the first loop.

We knit 1 air loop. We will then close the ring into it.

In the same way we knit 6 beads in a row.

After we have knitted 6 air loops with beads, we close the ring. We knit a connecting stitch through the very first empty loop and the last one on the hook.

The result is the 1st row.

We knit the second row. Separate 6 beads, move the first bead close to the air loop.

We stick the hook into the first air loop knitted with beads and knit a half-column on the LEFT side.

Very important!!! We always knit on the left side, that is, the beads on the thread and the beads of the air loop being knitted should be BEHIND the hook, and the thread with which we knit the air loops should be IN FRONT of the work, as if in the middle of the cord. If everything is done correctly, the bead of the bottom row is pressed by the top one and turns with the hole up.

The color of the bead being moved and the one we are knitting should be the same. If the colors do not match, it means you made a mistake somewhere and you need to unravel to the place where the colors match and knit again.

I knit each bead in four stages: 1 - I move the bead to the loop with the nail of the index finger of my right hand, 2 - I stick the hook into the loop with the bead of the previous row, 3 - I move the beads by the hook with the nail of my left thumb, 4 - I knit loop OVER the moved bead.

We knit the remaining 5 beads in the same way. The result is the second row.

This is what the two rows look like from the side

Then we continue to knit in a circle, making sure that the colors of the beads being moved and the ones being knitted match. If you knit everything correctly, then inside the bundle you get a knitted cord of threads, and all the beads remain outside. The end of the rope looks like a flower, the petals of which are our beads. When doing a lot of work, periodically check that the number of “petals” always remains the same. If we knit with 6 beads, then there should always be six of them in the top row. If there are 5 or 7 of them, then you need to disband until there are 6 of them again.

When knitted correctly, the beads in the knitted rows are pressed tightly against each other, and the holes in them are located parallel to the strand, and only in the very top row do the beads seem to “lie on their sides”

We knit the last row in the same way, with air loops, but without beads. This is done so that our beads unfold and neatly lay on the beads of the previous row.

Crochet rope

A crochet hook is a unique knitting tool with which you can knit beautiful and durable ropes; we will look at the technique of knitting a round twisted rope in this topic. This cord is ideal as handles for a bag, for creating decorative items, belts, straps, and decorations. The thickness of the rope depends on the thickness of the thread and the number of loops in the initial chain; the thicker the thread, the more loops you need to cast in the initial chain. http://domihobby.ru/
So, to knit a test sample, take not too thin, light yarn and a suitable hook. Cast on a chain of 5 to 10 chain stitches (depending on the thickness of the thread) and knit the first row with single crochets. Turning the work over, examine the first row and mark the jumpers under the loops into which the hook is inserted during further knitting.

Next, we secure the work into a ring by knitting a connecting post into a side loop.

Then we begin to knit single crochets in a circle, inserting the hook from the outside of the loops behind the jumper.

Having completed the first circle, continue further without making lifting loops. After knitting several rows, you will see that the upper part
