Corporate competitions in the office. New Year's corporate party in the office on our own. Decorating the office for the New Year: stylish, original, fun

Corporate events are a common occurrence these days. But often it is not possible to hold a corporate event outside the office, and celebrating a holiday every once in a while in the office in the “eat and chat” mode becomes boring and uninteresting. The main thing is to approach the process of preparing the holiday creatively, choose a bright idea and create an interesting scenario. eventspro will try to diversify your corporate event with his ideas.

1. Invite a presenter

It is gratifying that the days are gone when the programs of almost all presenters were too monotonous and the public was pretty bored. Nowadays there is fierce competition among people in this profession, and therefore everyone is trying to create something of their own, unique and inimitable. The hosts make improvised jokes and select competitions so that they are individually suitable for each holiday. True professionals are able to understand when to take a gastronomic break; they correctly alternate between the entertaining and official parts of the program. Naturally, many factors depend on who orders the corporate event. If a person was able to explain important points and clearly defined the task for the presenter, then, of course, everything will go great!

2. Organize a wine tasting

You can combine business with pleasure. The sommelier will teach guests how to navigate different wines, choose the right glasses for each variety and use wine accessories, and help them understand wine lists and labels. In addition, the sommelier will certainly amuse you with interesting facts and stories of funny situations, which will make the tasting a fun, educational and memorable event.

3. Invite a magician/illusionist

Even if you have very little space in your office, a magician will perform a micromagic session on the desktop of any employee. Tricks can be very diverse: with ropes, coins, cards, food and much more, and most importantly, magic tricks are always an incredibly interesting, exciting and emotional spectacle. Magician performances always bring back memories of childhood, so why not entertain yourself and your colleagues in this way?!

4. Rent attractions for small spaces

Dancing heads

To arrange such interesting entertainment, you need to have only a few square meters of free space. One to three people must sit in front of the equipment stand so that the drapes and green background leave only the participants' heads visible. Then a famous hit will sound, and figures of cartoon or professional dancers with the huge heads of your employees will appear on the screen. If employees loudly sing along and dance along, it will turn out very funny and funny.

Xbox Kinect

An excellent gaming console equipped with three cameras, thanks to which it reads the movements of one or more people at the same time. You can choose a character for yourself and repeat the movements after him, while earning points. It is also possible to have a virtual dancer repeat your movements. This is an incredibly fun activity.

5. Put on a memorable show

Science show

Don’t be surprised – this kind of entertainment is not just for kids! There are many exciting and unexpected science experiments that adults will love to take part in too. A science show can surprise and amuse even the most overworked employees. Naturally, there is a scientific basis for everything seen, but the show is breathtaking and causes incredible delight among the audience. Any participant will be able to feel like a real scientist. This will not be forgotten for a long time.

Sand show

Here you will not only be shown the amazing spectacle of sand painting to music, but also taught some techniques of such an unusual art. This is not just one picture depicted with sand on special glass. There's a whole story here with real transformations! And most importantly, everything that happens is projected on a large screen, so everyone will see the performance. One sand story lasts for 15 minutes.

6. Invite a cartoonist

You can invite a cheerful artist if your colleagues have a great sense of humor. The artist will note the characteristic features of any of those present and will be able to create such a nice cartoon that will lift the mood of each person. All employees will be presented with gifts; you just need to prepare the frames in advance. A professional caricature artist is able to produce 5-7 portraits in an hour.

7. Rent karaoke equipment

One of the most suitable entertainment for small spaces is singing karaoke. Large catalogs with all kinds of songs, a charming presenter who often sings superbly himself, beautiful music and a festive mood - this is a real corporate party! Both you and your colleagues will be able to demonstrate your vocal abilities, and at the same time learn about the talents of your employees. This is not the most expensive pleasure, but it is pleasant and memorable.

8. Conduct master classes

Recently, master classes have become very popular. After all, it’s always nice to create something new with your own hands, gain new knowledge and skills, especially when it takes place in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere in an atmosphere of fun and good mood.

9. Play mind games

The quest is gaining more and more popularity when choosing an idea for a holiday. Quest is an exciting game based on team solving of intellectual, creative and physical problems of varying complexity, where each participant receives a role and a memo with the background of his character and team, goals and a list of tasks. Each team must complete all tasks, the results of which will determine the winner.

Intellectual team games like “What? Where? When?". These games are designed not only to entertain, but also to exercise in solving complex mental problems. A spinning top, special buttons for several teams, interesting questions selected for your company, and an experienced presenter will rightly determine the real winner.

Although “Mafia” is no longer so popular, it has not become a less interesting and emotional game. If you haven't played it with your team yet, you should give it a try. Then for another half a month you will think about who from your team was the “mafioso”.

10. Organize a costume photo shoot

Option 1

Invite a costume designer and photographer. A costume designer arrives at the office with all sorts of accessories, wigs and themed costumes, who will help you create the look you choose. The photographer captures your employees in a new look. And the finished photographs can be used in the future as an individual photo gift or for decorating an office calendar.

Option 2

Invite an on-site photo studio with instant photo printing. All furniture, backdrops, costumes, accessories and equipment needed for memorable photographs will be brought to your office. All you have to do is put on themed outfits and start posing.

Option 3

Arrange an attraction called “The Magic Book”. A short video is shot separately for each participant. Then, thanks to a special program, certain frames are selected to be printed. After cutting, the pictures are put into a small book. If you quickly flip through the pages of a book, you can see the picture come to life and change.

So, there are a lot of ways to organize a corporate party in the office. Choose the idea that is most suitable for your team - and then you will have vivid and unforgettable impressions from the corporate event held together!

New Year is just around the corner, colleagues! Most companies are preparing corporate events: some will allow themselves to celebrate on a grand scale, others very modestly. But it’s not at all necessary to spend a lot of money on a restaurant. You can have a fun New Year in your home office, but it’s a little difficult to come up with new ideas, right? And we have an expert on holidays - Yulia Kozeeva will tell you how to organize a bright and original office corporate party and bring pleasure to all employees.

Yulia Kozeeva, event director, screenwriter.

I like to do events in the office. Why? If you like, it’s a new professional challenge every time. Look: on the one hand, there is a limitation by the size and configuration of the premises, on the other, employees see the office every day and are accustomed to it. Therefore, when you bring something unusual into the work environment, people are sincerely surprised and happy.

So, let's think about how exactly you can make a really fun and original holiday.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking about a holiday in the office is the standard decoration with balloons, a buffet table and a chocolate fountain. Well, okay, let's also add some rain, a couple of Christmas tree decorations and hang an electric garland - here, on the wall, like last time (and the time before last, and the time before last). Boring, but inexpensive and simple!

What if you go beyond the boundaries and create something amazing from the same elements? Also budget-friendly and simple... WOW!

Make fountains in the colors of the company, and from the same inflatable balls - create large props: clowns, funny animals, cars. If you can also interact with them, that’s generally great. Adults love to play too!

Look, what a bright solution I came up with for the holiday at Johnson & Johnson - they made unusual living decorations from ordinary balloons that you can hug, climb into, and most importantly, they are lightweight and can be easily moved to anywhere in the office.

True, at the request of the management we had to pay a little tribute to traditions - the design of the reception turned out to be almost classic.

And of course, the animators worked that day - they taught how to make figures from balloons right at their workplaces, and the key treat was ice cream, which, as a child dreamed, you could take for free and as much as you wanted. The return to childhood was great!

Here's another super idea.

The Mail.ru company set up an ice skating rink right in the middle of the office for the New Year. Of course, here we must take into account that such a large-scale structure is very expensive. But if you can afford it, there are now services that can bring a prefabricated skating rink of almost any size (minimum size is about 5 square meters), install it for 1 day and provide everyone with skates.

If you are more interested in budget and at the same time non-standard solutions, here is an example of an event for the Xerox company. It was very simple, inexpensive and sincere: in the meeting room they organized a master class on corporate decoration of Christmas tree balls (with which they immediately decorated the office Christmas tree), and Santa Claus walked around all the premises of the office and gave gifts to those who read poems or sang a song.

That is, in the middle of the working day, a cheerful flash mob suddenly formed, when employees were surprised by Santa Claus, took pictures, rejoiced and laughed until they dropped, read poetry and received small gifts.

Another New Year's event at the company's huge real estate headquarters was built on surprises. On each floor we did something different, unique: table bowling, cockroach races, tastings, quizzes on the history of the company (with a host and prizes), tastings, a tea ceremony, a florist’s workshop, an unusual photo zone on the stairs. And, of course, there was a buffet and a concert of a musical group in the dining room.

What other available solutions can be used for a corporate event in the office?

  • photo booths
  • unusual photo zones (portable stands, funny signs)
  • cocktail bar (fitness or alcoholic - whatever you want)
  • making coffee on sand
  • hand massage
  • mobile beauty salon
  • master classes where you have the opportunity to move around (which is very important when working sedentary): various dances, spinning poi, basics of juggling
  • making Christmas decorations for the office or home
  • quest (based on the history of the company or, say, Russian folk tales)

You can use ready-made solutions and scenarios or create an event project to suit your taste. The main thing to remember is that the main goal of a holiday in the office is to bring novelty and joy to office life, to surprise, give pleasure, and give pleasant emotions to employees. After all, this is also a positive employee experience ;)

And finally, a bonus: I’ll tell you about my favorite project - a master class on making wishes “The Practice of Miracles”.

It is perfect as a non-standard (and by the way, very budget) solution for a holiday. Miracles happen right in your office: all you need are chairs, paper/notepads, pens for employees, as well as a flipchart and markers.

In essence, this is a pre-New Year's spring cleaning in our heads: we throw away the unnecessary and put things in order in our relationships with ourselves in order to enter into a constructive internal dialogue. Is there magic here? Of course;) Practical work with yourself works wonders!

I suggest you take stock of the year and praise yourself for the work you have done. After all, it is praise that convinces our consciousness that the job is done, and we don’t have to waste any more time and energy on it - after all, there are so many interesting and important projects ahead. It's time to make new plans for yourself!

Long live the holiday!

Every day we rush to work and do not notice that our lives are becoming more and more gray everyday life, in which there is no place for rest, and not enough time to communicate with colleagues. Holding corporate celebrations helps to improve relationships between employees, create a friendly microclimate in the team, opens up common interests, and helps the boss to communicate informally with his subordinates.

Relationships in a team do not always go smoothly, and very often they cannot be called ideal. But the quality and results of work directly depend on the atmosphere in the office. Such parties help people resolve controversial situations over a glass of champagne, measure themselves, and relieve accumulated tension over a long time. The main thing is that the holiday does not turn into another drinking binge. When the tables are full of all kinds of goodies and an abundance of alcoholic drinks, people simply forget why everyone has gathered. The corporate must be properly organized.

Organizing a corporate event in the office

Today there are many private companies that organize any events. They take on all types of services - they decorate the hall, make a menu at your discretion, provide an experienced and creative toastmaster - he will properly distribute the evening, select entertainment and competitions so that all members of the party can participate, and everyone has fun and interesting.

If there is no such opportunity to turn to qualified people, do not despair! You can do everything yourself, the main thing is not to put everything on one person! Create a so-called “holiday committee” and assign everyone their own task, for which they will be responsible and prepare. And so as not to forget or get confused, you can write down who is specifically responsible for what. Some people may find this method boring and unnecessary, but this way you can definitely avoid various overlaps, and not a single moment will be left unattended.

An important task is, of course, to find a toastmaster. In the circle of the team there is an entertainer who is always the soul of any company - entrust him with the role of toastmaster (come up with an exciting scenario, interesting competitions and games, interesting toasts...)

How to design an office?

It is necessary to decorate the room; this will ensure a good holiday mood for everyone. Depending on your budget, you may choose different options that you like.
Balloons are an inexpensive and effective way to decorate a room. They add a more solemn atmosphere to any celebration. You can use balloons to realize any original ideas and create various compositions.

From balls you can make: figures, arches, garlands, and many other various ideas.
The lighting decoration of the hall occupies a significant place in the design. Depending on the budget, it is possible to order from various companies:
— installation of lasers;
- karaoke - microphones, ordering songs, monitor and everything you want to suit your taste;
— panoramic projectors;
- special effects of artificial smoke.

Light decorations amazingly transform and decorate any room.

If there is no budget at all, you can simply ask all your colleagues to bring any decorations they have from home - bright ribbons, balls, garlands, flowers, etc. Draw a couple of posters on whatman paper on the theme of the celebration, you can build a humorous poster with clippings from magazines and pasted photographs of employees. This will greatly amuse and delight all those present, the main thing is that the plots are harmless and humorous.

The main thing is to show your imagination and put your soul into it so that the dullest room can be transformed before your eyes.

How to plan a menu for a corporate event?

Everyone already understands that it is impossible to prepare complex and delicious dishes in the office, so professionals will come to the rescue - choose a good restaurant with delivery, check out the menu and order a banquet. It is important not to miss some features of your employees - vegetarians and allergy sufferers.

Budget option “Do it yourself!

Announce to all employees that at the corporate party there will be a competition for the best cook, and you need to prepare your own signature dish - there will be many who want to participate. As a result, the table will be filled with various goodies, and at the end of the evening you will be able to choose the most skillful professional. The advantages of this option are that everyone is busy with their own business, the problem with dirty dishes is resolved, and there is a wide variety of dishes.
Buffet!

Everything is very practical and convenient, especially when there is little time for preparation and there will be a lot of guests. The advantages of such a table are that you can prepare everything at home (and even in the office), buy special plastic containers in the supermarket and transport everything safely without problems.

Plus, everyone chooses their own food according to their taste.

On the Internet, pages are simply full of snack recipes:
- various canapés;
- buns with all kinds of fillings;
- sandwiches;
- stuffed tomatoes and eggs;
— assorted vegetables and fruit slices;
- lavash rolls.

A lavash roll is simply a unique option that will appeal to everyone; you can experiment endlessly with the filling.

An example of a filling - take pita bread and spread it with soft cheese (possibly feta cheese), place thin pieces of salmon on top, sprinkle with herbs and roll into a tight roll. Place in the refrigerator overnight. Before serving, cut into small rings. It turned out cheap, beautiful and tasty.

So, let’s turn on our imagination and go experiment in the kitchen!

An idea to surprise your colleagues is to organize a “Chocolate Fountain”. You need to cut the fruit into small pieces - leave apples, pineapples, bananas, strawberries and grapes whole. We heat the chocolate in the fondue pot, add a little cream and everything is ready - you can dip the fruit into the chocolate mixture. Few people will remain indifferent to such pleasure.
Alcoholic drinks need to be calculated so that there is enough for everyone and there is not much left over - approximately 1 bottle of wine for two people, 250 ml of strong alcohol, 300 ml of water and juice for one person.

Entertainment for colleagues

Corporate entertainment should be bright, not boring and memorable for all employees. After all, this is not just a meeting where they will talk about work, so the organizers need to work hard on the entertainment scenario. Games and competitions are an integral part of every celebration, without which the holiday will be boring, and it is unlikely that anyone will speak positively about it later.

“Puncture if you can!”- an active game.
Any number of players participate - 1 or 2 balloons are tied to their feet. The task is to puncture the opponents' balls by any means, but at the same time protect your own.

“Put the boxes down!”
Place 2 inverted stools on the floor, and take the players 2 m away. Give four boxes of matches in each hand and blindfold them. The goal of the game is to walk to the stool with your eyes closed and put matches on the legs of the stool. Whoever makes no mistakes and completes the task faster is the winner.

"Fishing!"
A fun and exciting competition. Any number of men participate - the toastmaster suggested going on a fictitious fishing trip, picking up fictitious fishing rods and starting fishing. The catch is that the water in the river begins to rise and wet your feet - they roll up their trousers to their knees. When everyone has rolled up their trousers, the presenter abruptly announces a new competition for the hairiest legs. There will be a lot of laughter!

“Wear it and don’t take it off!”
You need to prepare a small box in advance with different things that you can wear (preferably funny ones). Gather all participants in a circle and, accompanied by cheerful music, pass the box around in a circle from hand to hand. The music stops and whoever has the box in their hands takes any item and puts it on themselves, wearing it until the end of the game.

"Happy dance!"
Participants become pairs and receive a balloon. Couples start dancing to any music, and they need to move so that the ball does not fall to the floor. The winner is the pair that manages to keep their ball the longest.

“Shall we have a drink?”
We take two hats - in one we throw notes on what we can drink from (spoons, bottles, basins, and anything else), and in the other we write what we can snack on (a leaf, a kiss from the neighbor on the left, etc.). As a result, the participant draws from one hat what to drink from, and from the other what to snack on. It turns out to be very fun entertainment.

Even if something didn’t work out during the holiday, then you shouldn’t be upset, because the main goal is the good mood of the guests. If the atmosphere is cheerful and friendly, then any shortcomings will not be noticed at all. Sometimes you really want to forget, at least for a little while, that we are serious and grown-up people, and just enjoy life and relax to the fullest. So let's not waste these precious minutes of collective relaxation, and let's learn not only to work together, but also to relax!

If you have been tasked with organizing a celebration in your office, first of all you need to clarify your budget and make a list of necessary things to do. This list is directly related to the established budget, which can be adjusted as calculations proceed. The required items on such a list are as follows:

  1. Ordering dishes (purchasing food and drinks)
  2. Purchasing gifts for employees and children of employees
  3. Development of a holiday script
  4. Purchase of props and decorations, prizes (souvenirs) for winners of competitions
  5. Office decorations
  6. Employee notification

Holiday format

The format of the holiday depends on the number of employees in the company. In small teams, you can organize a banquet, when each employee prepares and brings his own dish to the table. In this case, you need to agree with each employee regarding the dishes that he will bring. It is imperative to monitor your colleagues so that they do not forget about their promise.

For a large group, it is better to organize a buffet according to two possible options. The first option: order food from a restaurant or catering company. Catering is preferable, since the dishes on their menu are designed for long-term storage after preparation. In this case, representatives of the company or restaurant will provide you with menu options and calculations.

The second option: purchase and prepare food for the table yourself. This will require not only financial resources, but also organizing a trip to the store or delivery of products from an online store and the help of colleagues in preparing the festive table. Make an agreement with them in advance.

In any case, you will have to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks yourself.

Quantity of purchased food and drinks

Calculate the amount of food and drinks based on the accepted norm of 1–1.5 kg of food per person. This should include meat and cheese snacks, fruits, vegetables, breads, and canned snacks. If the final amount turns out to be too high and the director demands a reduction in the budget, reduce the norm, but not to the detriment of diversity.

Calculating the number of drinks is more difficult. Use the following formula:
– for most men – 0.75 liters of wine, 0.7 liters of vodka, 0.25–0.3 liters of champagne per person;
– for most women – 1.2 liters of wine, 0.5 liters of vodka, 0.5 liters of champagne per person.

Water with and without gas in a ratio of 30/70%, based on 0.5–0.6 liters of water per person. Juices of 2–3 types, carbonated drinks, etc. – 1.5–2 liters per person. For the remainder for dessert, provide tea and coffee in a ratio of 60/40% cups.

Expensive alcoholic drinks, as a rule, are purchased by agreement for executives.

Think about the dishes and tablecloths you might need. It’s easier to buy disposable dishes and a disposable tablecloth so that you don’t have to wash them later, but just throw them away.

What to consider when preparing a corporate event

Even if the office does not have a large room, this can be turned into an advantage and used in a holiday scenario: organize a quest in the offices - or turn them into “islands” with a masquerade and performances by employees.

When coming up with a script, you must take into account the gender and age composition of the team. You should alternate between playful and official moments so that the holiday turns into a management report on the achievements of the past year.

You definitely need to find a leader. Ideally, willing to be Father Frost or Snow Maiden. In any group there is an artistic nature that enjoys universal love.

A very important point is the musical accompaniment. If it is not possible to invite a DJ, you will have to put together a playlist yourself or ask colleagues to send their favorite tracks. You can also organize karaoke, but in a separate room.

Be sure to agree with the director on the time frame for holding the corporate event and notify employees about this. In any case, the management will leave the holiday earlier, but a situation where the event turns into an uncontrolled party until the morning is unacceptable. Also take care of organizing the cleaning of the premises.

December is perhaps the busiest month. Reports, results, plans, and with all this you need to not forget about the upcoming holiday! Relax - reports are reports, and spending the old year and welcoming the new one in your family is no less important. To make the holiday a success, it is not enough to buy provisions and alcohol. You need to take care of the New Year's surroundings: hang garlands and rain in the office, stock up on funny hats and caps, and maybe even dress up the boss as Santa Claus, and his secretary or chief accountant as the Snow Maiden.

And the most important thing in a New Year's party with colleagues is not even the surroundings, not the drink or the food, but the fun! To ensure this, try to entertain everyone with games and competitions. In our selection you will find some funny and unusual ideas:

Alphabet

To begin with - so to speak, to “warm up” - arrange a contest of wishes. Let each of those gathered at the table, starting with the boss, say a short wish to the employees, starting with a specific letter of the alphabet. For example: A - Astronomical earnings, the next one says B - Great pleasure from work, then comes C - High performance, D - great health, and so on. The funniest thing will begin when you reach the letters Zh, Y, as well as hard and soft signs.

The hottest

Give everyone the same ice cube from the freezer. The winner of the competition will be the one who, without any available means, melts his piece in the palms of his hands the fastest.

The most accurate

Cut out a cardboard ring in advance. It will need to be thrown onto bottles of alcoholic beverages standing in a row. Determine the distance from which it is difficult to hit, but possible, and let them compete. The winner gets a bottle of his choice!

The most sensual

Let the ladies sit on chairs on which a certain (different!) number of walnuts, covered with newspaper, have been pre-stacked. The winner is the one who can determine the number of nuts under her without looking.

Hussars, forward!

Did you pour the next one? So, it's time to start the next competition. You need to drink a glass for a reason, but according to certain rules - prepare pieces of paper with these rules, let everyone take out their task and complete:

1. Drink a glass from your neighbor’s hand.

2. Through a straw.

3. Eat a crust of bread.

4. From the back of the hand.

5. For brotherhood with a neighbor.

6. A teaspoon.

7. Wash it down with a glass of vodka.

8. Wash it down with mineral water.

Russian roulette

It is very important that none of those present know the essence of the competition in advance. Prepare chicken eggs according to the number of male participants. Take them out in a box and announce: let the men line up in a row, take turns taking an egg from the box and breaking it on their own forehead! Each of the participants does all this in honor of his “Beautiful Lady”, so it is impossible to turn out to be. At the same time, be sure to say that all the eggs in the box are boiled, and only one is raw: whoever is lucky. The excitement will be serious. The catch is that there are no raw eggs in the box - not a single one, but this will become clear only after everyone, frozen, tries their luck at Russian roulette.

Happy Holidays!
