Knit a warm skirt with braids using circular knitting needles. Skirt with braid pattern. Knitting patterns for children's skirts

A knitted skirt with braids is based on the famous collection from Dior, autumn-winter 2013/2014. Of course, mine is simpler (in the original there are several braids on the skirts), but it is knitted quite simply and quickly due to thick yarn and large knitting needles. The skirt turned out to be warm and eye-catching.

Materials:

Yarn “Winter Premiere” from Pekhorsky Textiles (150 m in 100 grams, composition 50% merino, 50% bulk acrylic) red 250 g, black 400 g. (size 44, skirt length 80 cm). Rubber for a belt 4 cm wide.

Knitting needles 4.0, 4.5, hook 3.5, crochet pin.

The yarn is thick and warm, knits easily and quickly. It is slightly twisted, so it is well suited for knitting: the finished product does not skew.

Knitted skirt with braids, description and patterns:

Knitting the back part:

Color A is black, color B is red.

The skirt is knitted from the bottom up.

Cast on 33 stitches on 4mm needles. with yarn A, then cast on with yarn B for 40 stitches, then cast on another 33 with the second skein of yarn A.

Row 1(RS): Work each colored section as above. Alternate knit 1 with purl 1 until the end of the row. Continue knitting with an elastic band “1 by 1” until its height is 3 cm from the beginning of knitting (8 rows). Complete on a purl row. Change the needles to a larger size (4.5 mm).

Start knitting with a two-color braid pattern:

Row 1 (front): with color A, knit 27 stitches, then knit the next 12 stitches according to pattern 1, then knit 28 stitches with color B, then knit 12 stitches according to pattern 2, then knit with yarn A to the end of the row. .

Row 2 (purl): With yarn A, purl the next 27 stitches, then work in pattern 2 for the next 12 stitches, then with yarn B, purl 28 stitches, then 12 stitches. according to pattern 1, and then with yarn a, purl until the end of the row.

Continue knitting according to the patterns as described above, up to the 20th row inclusive, then repeat from the 1st to the 20th row until the height of the skirt is 20 cm from the beginning (knit five crosses of the braid loops in height), complete knitting in the purl row.

Forming bevels

Decrease 1 stitch. on each side in the next row, then make such decreases in every 10th row (at each cross stitch when knitting a braid) 6 more times = 92 stitches.

Knitting the top of the skirt

At a height of 70 cm from the beginning of knitting (20 crosses of braid loops), decrease one loop on each side. Repeat dec every 5th row 2 more times = 86 stitches. Continue knitting straight until the skirt reaches a height of 80 cm (or the desired skirt height).

Belt

Switch to knitting with 4.0 knitting needles and black yarn. Knit in stockinette stitch (knit rows with knit stitches, purl rows with purl stitches) to a height of 5 cm (or depending on the width of the waist band).

Knit the front piece in the same way as the back piece.

Skirt assembly:

Knitted skirt with braids, sizes

Pin the details of the skirt to give it the desired dimensions and moisten. Dry. then sew them together at the side seams. Place the belt on the wrong side and sew (with a hook or needle), leaving a small hole in the seam. Insert an elastic band into it, trim off the excess, and sew the ends of the elastic together. Completing of the work

On circular needles No. 4, cast on 200 (216) 232 loops, close the work in a ring and for the bar
knit 10 cm = 30 circular rows with a plank pattern; the beginning of the circular row = the middle of the front panel.

Continue working on circular needles No. 4.5 as follows: 10 stitches in stockinette stitch, 3 stitches in stockinette stitch, 174 (190) 206 stitches in stockinette stitch, 3 stitches in stockinette stitch, 10 stitches in stockinette stitch.

For the 1st crossing of the “braid” after 7 cm = 19 circular rows from the bar * divide the work at the beginning of the circular row (= in the middle of the “braid”) and first knit in a spread 2 cm = 6 rows according to. pattern, and start with 1 purl row. In the last front row, knit up to the last 10 stitches, then leave them unknitted on the auxiliary knitting needle while working, knit the next 10 loops, then leave 10 loops from the auxiliary knitting needle unknitted on the left knitting needle. Knit another 2 cm in a spread = 6 rows according to. pattern, and start with 1 purl row. Close the work again in a ring and knit 9 cm = 26 circular rows according to. pattern.

Pleating a long-recognized and popular canvas effect to this day. Most often, pleating is used when knitting skirts, dresses or bottoms, because these patterns, with the formation of smooth accordion folds, show their beauty in a free flowing direction.

Knitting technique pleated patterns are very simple, loose or false pleats are formed by knitting vertical lines from knit and purl stitches, or by slipping stitches, and clear and fluffy pleats can be knitted by folding the fabric.
Most simple option knitting with a pleated effect involves knitting vertical lines of knit and purl stitches between a certain number of garter stitch stitches that will form edges.

This pattern has the same front and back sides, the lines from the front loops form the outer corner of the fold, and the lines from the back loops form the inner corner.
For the sample, cast on a number of stitches that is a multiple of 10 + 2 edge stitches. In this sample, the width of the edge of the fold will be equal to 4 loops; when calculating, you can set the width of the fold yourself.
1st row (knits): chrome, *knit 9, purl 1, repeat from* to the end of the row, chrome.
2nd row (purl): chrome, knit 5, purl 1, *knit 9, purl 1, repeat from *, finish knit 4, chrome.
Repeat further rows 1 and 2 until the required height of the fabric.
When knitting folds, keep in mind that the lines from the knit stitches form the outer corner of the fold, and the purl stitches form the inner corner.
To bend the fold to the right, remove 5 loops from the outer corner (line of facial loops) onto an additional knitting needle, and the next 5 loops onto the second knitting needle.

Place the knitting needles with the removed loops behind the work and knit 5 loops together from 3 knitting needles, simultaneously inserting the knitting needle into 3 loops.

To fold the fold to the left on an additional needle, remove 5 loops from the inner corner (purl line), on the second needle the next 5 loops and place them before work and knit a fold.

The folds can be placed at a certain distance from each other or close to each other, directing them in the same direction or in the opposite direction.

Pleated knitting option with hinges removed forms a more prominent and dense canvas. In knitting pleated fabrics, widening of the folds is often used by adding loops in the edges. The pattern shows an expansion from one stitch to three in the width of the knitted edge.

Start knitting from the smallest edges of one loop. Cast on a number of loops that are a multiple of 4, + 3 additional, + 2 edge stitches.
1st row (knits): chrome, *3 knits, 1 p. remove - thread before work, repeat from* to the end of the row, chrome.
2nd row (purl): chrome, knit 1, * slip 1 stitch - thread before work, knit 3, repeat from *, finish 1 stitch - remove thread before work, knit 3, chrome.
Repeat the 1st and 2nd row until the required height of the fabric, then add 1 loop on each side. Additions should be made at equal distances in height to uniformly expand the canvas to the desired width.
The folds look good on the front surface, to form the outer and inner corners of the folds, removed loops are used.

Cast on the required number of loops, a multiple of the width of the fold + 2 edges.
On the sample, row 1 (knits): edge, *knit 4, slip 1 stitch - thread behind work, knit 4, slip 1 stitch - thread before work, repeat from* to end of row, finish 4 persons, chrome
2nd row (purl): chrome, purl all stitches, chrome.
Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows to the required height and form folds, taking into account that the removed loops before work form an outer corner, and the loops behind work form an inner corner.

In this article you will learn how to make knitted skirts using knitting needles; detailed patterns for beginners are included.

Let's look at the main types of fashionable skirts that are especially popular among girls and women.

We knit a narrow skirt with knitting patterns for beginners

The classic version of a straight skirt with braids will create a sensation among girlfriends and colleagues:

This pattern clearly and clearly explains how to knit a stylish skirt for a confident woman if you like to work with knitting needles:

For those who don’t want to bother too much with different patterns, but want to be fashionable with minimal investment of money and time, then a simple knitting option is perfect, which is knitted very easily, but looks no less impressive. Skirts knitted only with knitting needles are an excellent option for office wear, which even a novice craftswoman can easily master with diagrams and descriptions.

- dark gray yarn (about 200 grams);

- elastic band about 3 cm wide.

Waist circumference- 74 centimeters. Hip volume- 95 centimeters.

Before you start knitting, you need to make a pattern like this:

Next we proceed to the knitting itself. It should be noted that the skirt is knitted in the transverse direction. First, 120 stitches are cast on the auxiliary thread, then knitting begins with a dark gray thread in stockinette stitch, so we knit about 130 centimeters. After this, remove the auxiliary thread and transfer the loops to the knitting needle. Then you need to make a seam between the starting edge and the ending edge.

Next is knitting again. Knit 420 stitches using knit stitches. That is, you need to cast on and knit 6 stitches for every five rows. The circle closes. We knit 1 row in a circle with purl loops, then again 1 row with knit stitches and about 5 centimeters with an elastic band according to the pattern 1 knit, 1 purl. Close the loops.

On the opposite edge, using circular knitting needles, cast on 280 stitches, knit on the right side, and then with an elastic band 5 centimeters. Next, decrease the loops as follows: 2 knit loops, 2 knit loops, but together. And so on until the end of the row, about 210 stitches. Then 3 centimeters in the usual way and you need to close the loops. The last step is to sew on the braid, which will complete the creation of the skirt.

Wedge skirt with job description

An excellent option for both the office and walking.

The meaning of this knitting is that the wedges are first knitted separately and then joined into a single product. The style of the skirt is narrow at the top, but widening towards the bottom.

What you will need to knit such a skirt (based on size 42-44):

- yarn (about 500 grams);

- knitting needles No. 2;

- wide elastic band or elastic band for the belt.

You need to start knitting from the top, gradually moving to the bottom. The first thing you need to knit is an elastic band. Cast on 432 loops and knit with an elastic band of 7 centimeters. It is knitted according to the following pattern: 2 knit stitches, 2 purl loops. Then continue with the pattern according to the diagram below:

To knit a pearl pattern, you need to follow these recommendations:

In the first row, knit like this: 1 knit stitch, then 1 purl stitch. The second and fourth rows are according to the pattern, the third row is a little different - knit the front loop over the purl loop and vice versa. Next, we repeat all the rows in the same way.

In order for the skirt not to turn out straight, but rather flared, you need to resort to some tricks. In every 21 rows, increase stitches according to the diagram. Then sew on the fabric belt. The length is knitted at the discretion of the craftswoman.
