3. Cast on the required number of stitches on the knitting needles; the hat fabric is knitted without any changes with an elastic band. When knitting, you can take into account a little fineness. The stitch that is the last on each of the needles will look a little stretched in the product, no matter how carefully you try to knit it. Therefore, it is better to distribute the loops on the knitting needles in such a way that the last stitch on each knitting needle is the purl loop; its distortion is not so visible in the finished hat.

4. The length at which decreases should begin is determined for each person individually, through several fittings. In this hat, decreases for the top began after 16 cm of the fabric with an elastic band. The decreases will be made with four wedges, respectively, the fabric is divided into 4 parts, for each part the middle two facial loops are marked. Again, with 152 loops, the fabric cannot be divided equally, so in two parts there will be 8 repeats of 4 loops each, and in the other two there will be 9 repeats each (the parts alternate).

You need to decrease as follows: in each row, to the right of the selected two central loops, knit two loops slanted to the left, and to the right of the loops, two loops slanted to the right.

5. Decrease until there are 12 stitches left on the needles. Now cut the thread at a distance of approximately 15 cm and pull it through the remaining loops using a hook. Hide the thread on the wrong side, tighten and secure.

6. From two skeins there is a little less than 100 g left, which is quite enough for a small scarf, knitted into one thread with an elastic band.

After this, the sample is knitted with the selected pattern. From this fragment the number of loops in one centimeter is calculated. Then the head circumference is multiplied by this figure. You should not start knitting without a sample, even if the number of loops is indicated in the manual. Due to the loose or tight knitting style, the size of men's hats may not match the measurements taken. Description of the manufacture of various models

8. We begin to decrease the loops. To do this, divide them on the knitting needle in this way: 10, 18, 18, 18, 18, 18, 10. Mark with a contrasting thread. On circular knitting needles

It is convenient to create models without a lapel in a circle on five knitting needles. To work you will need:

• Sensational wool yarn from Fibranatura, 166 m per 100 g;
• 5 knitting needles No. 4.5.

We cast on 88 P and distribute them equally among 4 knitting needles. We knit in stocking stitch 28 cm. Then we decrease. The hat is seamless, and the bottom edge is curled outward.

I also knitted 2 blue ones for my son and husband. When choosing a model, they were categorical: this one! And I agree with them, this model is very beautiful. But, I’m not me if I don’t tie it in my own way. I really like double hats for winter, so these are double ones too.

I used Belarusian threads, 100g in bobbins, high% acrylic. In two threads (6 folds). Dark blue color. It took about 220g for two hats. Knitting needles No. 3. Hats with a volume of 60 cm and a height of 22 cm.

I started knitting with 12 stitches cast on from a ring of thread. On 4 knitting needles, I increased every second row by 2 stitches (at the beginning and in the middle) up to 108 stitches. This turned out to be 12 increases or 24 rows. The result was a smooth distribution of loops into 8 wedges. Next with stockinette stitch. When the lining became 22cm long, I made a row of purl stitches. loops for folding. I didn't follow the description exactly. I chose a simpler option for myself. I knitted an elastic band 1x1. When switching to the pattern, I simply added yarn overs on the side where the stripe sloped (before or after the front one). I always knitted the previous yarn over together with the knit yarn over. Tilt to the right - for the upper lobules, tilt to the left - for the lower ones (faces or faces crossed, to choose from). If all the front stitches are knitted crossed, the stripe will be sharper. I have both.

Maybe it’s easier for someone to knit according to the pattern. I'll show you my notes.

The pattern seemed very easy, I just tried to knit it tightly. In the photo I will show you from the wrong side - the stripes are even and flat.

But I chose the front side. The pattern is very embossed. When light falls on the hat, the shadow emphasizes the pattern.

After the stripes I switched to 1x1 elastic. It closed with 6 wedges. Every second row at the beginning is 2 stitches. together. When there are 10 (8) sts on 1 knitting needle, then 2 sts. together 2 times through the row and pulled off the remaining loops. Lining 8 wedges, crown 6 wedges. But on the top of the head, when stretched, both canvases lay very well on top of each other.

My husband and son really liked them, and so did I. They look, in my opinion, cool.
