In total it will be necessary to connect 42 motifs:

triangle - 1 piece,

quadrangle - 3 pieces,

crochet gifts for Easter

pentagon - 19 pieces,

hexagon - 15 pieces + 2 pieces for ears,

heptagon - 2 pieces.

For knitting horses we will need the following materials:

  • Multi-colored bright yarn. In the master class, the horse was knitted from Iris yarn.
  • Yarn for mane and tail.
  • Hook No. 1.5 (or another corresponding to the yarn you have chosen).
  • Filler for a toy (For example, padding polyester or sliver).
  • Needle for stitching parts.
  • Sheet of cardboard.

    Let's start knitting a hexagonal motif. We will knit according to diagram:

    So, let's start knitting.

    We are recruiting 5 air loops and close them in a ring. Let's start knitting first row. two air loops for lifting, double crochet, air loop. Next we repeat *two double crochets, chain stitch* - 5 times.

    Take yarn of a different color.

    Second row: We knit two lifting chain stitches again, then into the hole formed by the chain stitch of the previous row, we knit a double crochet, a chain stitch, and two double crochets. Repeat *two double crochets, chain stitch, two double crochets* into the hole formed by the chain stitch of the previous row - 5 times.

    To knit the next row, you can change the color of the yarn again, or you can continue knitting the same.

    crocheting with thin thread

    Third row: Using half-stitches, make your way to the hole that was formed by the air loop of the previous row (between two double crochets). We knit two chain stitches for lifting and 6 double crochets. Repeat *7 double crochets* - 5 times.

    crochet dress for women

    Change the color of the yarn. It is better if it is yarn in a contrasting color.

    Fourth row:*7 single crochet, double crochet* - repeat 6 times.

    Change the color of the yarn again and tie the flower with double crochets.

    The last row is single crochet with white yarn:

    The remaining motifs are knitted similarly. Here's more knitting pattern pentagonal motif:

    Now let's get started assembly. There are several ways to assemble things connected from individual motifs. You can find out more about these methods here:

    In this master class, the parts are sewn together, but you can choose the method of joining the parts that you prefer.

    Let's start assembling the horse from the muzzle. Take the following parts: 1 triangular motif and 3 pentagonal ones.

    We sew them together as shown in the photo:

    Crochet rugs, potholders

    Now we take 3 more pentagons.

    We sew them to the muzzle.

    crochet long cardigan

    Let's take another pentagonal motif:

    Sew it to the back of the head.

    We sew two hexagons - on one side and on the other. This will be the horse's neck.

    crochet petals for flowers

    crochet beret lang ru

    We continue to connect the parts. The diagram shows how to do this. In those places where the number “4” is located we place quadrangles.

    Now we will assemble the legs separately, and then attach them to the body of the horse.

    long crochet methods

    For each leg we will need the following motifs:

    We sew the motifs together. The leg is ready.

    crochet napkin patterns

    Thus, at this stage we have three parts left unsewn: a heptagonal motif (sewn last on the tummy) and two hexagonal motifs for the ears.

    We sew the legs to the body, do not sew the heptagon onto the tummy yet, through this hole we will stuff the toy.

    crochet bolero jacket

    Sew the heptagonal motif onto the tummy, thereby closing the hole.

    This is the kind of horse we got. True, so far without a mane, tail and ears.

    crochet ring

    Let's start creating the mane. For this we need fluffier and softer yarn. And in order to make the mane even, we will use one clever device. In principle, if you trust your eye, then you can simply attach the threads.

    In order for the hairs of the mane to be the same length, we will make a blank from cardboard. Outline the horse's neck.

    We wrap yarn around the entire cardboard mane.

    Cut the top and let go of the “hair”:

    You can trim your bangs a little :)

    From the same yarn we make a tail for a horse:

    crochet summer skirts

    Let's start attaching the ears. The eyelet is a hexagonal motif folded in half and tied with single crochets.

    crochet baby socks

    Fold the eyelet in half and secure it with a needle. There is no need to cut the thread, since next we will sew the ears to the horse’s head.

    The horse is ready! Now we just have to wait for the New Year :)

    The horse is ready! Now we just have to wait for the New Year :)

    In just a few days we will be celebrating the New Year! And today we invite you to familiarize yourself with a master class on crocheting a toy from motifs in the shape of a horse. Such motifs, from which a knitted toy will be made, are often used when knitting various accessories (shawl, blanket and even a bag).

    To knit a toy you need:

    Bright yarn of different colors;

    Yarn for the tail and mane;

    Hook (here No. 1.5 was used for Iris yarn);

    Stuffing for a toy (for example, padding polyester/holofiber);

    Cardboard, needle (for stitching elements), scissors.

    To make such a toy, 42 motifs were required:

    1 PC. triangular,

    3 pcs. quadrangular;

    19 pcs. pentagonal;

    15 pcs. hexagonal + two pieces for ears;

    2 pcs. heptagonal.

    Crochet toy from motifs step by step:

    Designations:

    VP - air loop

    Art. s n. - double crochet;

    Art. without n. - single crochet;

    Knit a 6-corner motif according to the pattern (photo 1-2).

    Cast on five chains and close them into a ring. Start knitting the 1st row: 2 ch for lifting, st. s n., vp. Then repeat *2 tbsp. s n., ch* - five times (photo 2-3).

    Take lilac yarn.

    2nd row: Once again knit 2 ch in rise, then into the hole formed by the ch of the previous row, knit a st. s n., vp, 2 tbsp. s n. Repeat *2 tbsp. s n., vp, two st. with n.* into the hole formed by ch of the previous row - five times (5-7).

    For further knitting, you can also change the shade of the yarn or continue knitting with the same color.

    3rd row: Using semi-strips, you need to get to the hole that was formed by the ch of the previous row (between 2 dc). Work 2 ch for rise and 6 sts. s n. Repeat *7 st. with n.* - five times (photo 8-10).

    Take yarn in a contrasting shade.

    4th row: * 7 tbsp. without n., art. with n.* - repeat six times (photo 11-12).

    Change the yarn and tie the “flower” st. s n. (photo 14-16).

    Knit the final row st. without n. white yarn (photo 17).

    Knit other motifs by analogy. Photos 18-19 also show a knitting pattern for a pentagonal motif. As a result, you should get 42 motifs (photo 20).

    Then start assembling. Here the parts are sewn together, but you can also choose a different way to connect the elements.

    Start assembling the knitted horse toy from the face, for which you need to take one 3-charcoal motif and three 5-charcoal ones (photo 21). Sew them together as in photo 22. Next, take three more 5-gons (photo 23). Sew them to the face (photo 24).

    Take another 5-corner motif (Photo 25) and sew it to the back of the head (Photo 26). Sew two hexagons - on both sides (this will become the horse's neck) (photo 27). Next, sew on one 5-gon and one 6-gon. Do this on both sides (Photo 28).

    Continue connecting the parts according to the diagram. Place 4-squares in places with the number “4” (photo 29). Then you need to separately assemble the legs, and then attach them to the horse’s body. For one foot you will need motifs, as in photo 30.

    Sew the motifs together and the paw is ready. At this stage, we will have 3 elements left unsewn: a 7-charcoal motif (needs to be sewn on the belly last) and two 6-charcoal motifs for the ears (photo 31). Sew the paws to the body, and the 7-coal motif on the stomach should be sewn after stuffing the toy (photo 32).

    Fill the toy with stuffing (photo 33). After which you need to sew the 7-charcoal motif to the tummy, closing the hole (photo 34). As a result, you will receive a toy blank like this (photo 35-36).

    Start making the mane. What you need is the softest yarn and a cardboard device (so that the hairs are the same length). You need to trace the horse's neck on cardboard (photo 37). Thus, depict the mane and cut out this part (photo 38). Then proceed to winding the nets onto a cardboard blank (photo 39). Then cut the top and loosen the “hairs” (photo 40):

    Also give the horse a tail (photo 41). Then proceed to attach the ears, made from 6 coal motifs, folded in half and tied with st. without n. (photo 42). Fold the ear in half and secure with a needle. The thread does not need to be cut, as the pieces need to be sewn in place (photo 43). Sew them on and the crocheted motif toy is ready!
