The baby does not want to walk in a stroller in winter. The baby does not want to walk in a stroller in the winter. The child cries during a walk in the summer.

For many mothers, winter walks with infants become real hard labor. The child does not want to get dressed. He is capricious, fidgeting, crying. And mom is in a hurry and nervous. In winter, you need to put a lot of clothes on your baby, this is a long process. And the room is warm, the child is hot. The mother is worried that the baby will sweat, so she is even more nervous.

As soon as the preparations are completed, the child is placed in a stroller and taken outside. Mom hopes that her baby will fall asleep now and will sleep peacefully throughout the walk. But it was not there! The child begins to scream so much that no amount of coaxing or rocking helps. As a result, you have to return from your walk ahead of time.

But walks in the fresh winter air are very beneficial for babies! Nobody encourages you to walk with your baby in thirty-degree frost. But walking at temperatures of minus ten degrees is extremely important. The fact is that with a slight frost the air becomes cleaner, it is richer in oxygen and negative ions. Winter walks strengthen the child’s body, and this improves immunity. The duration of the walk at this temperature should be at least two hours. But how can you spend at least an hour outside if your child is constantly screaming and bursting into tears?

Let's analyze why the baby doesn't want to walk in a stroller in winter. One of the possible reasons is that the child is uncomfortable in numerous clothes or is simply too hot. If the undershirt is wet after returning from the street, then the child was hot. Keep this point in mind when choosing “equipment” for your next walk.

Another reason for a baby’s nervousness is a basic feeling of hunger. Many people feed their children before going for a walk, but by the time the mother gets dressed, by the time she dresses the baby, at least half an hour passes. The physiology of a baby is such that immediately after eating he wants to sleep. But if they didn’t let him sleep, dressing him for a walk, and the child went out for a long time, then he will be capricious later. Experienced mothers advise doing this: first dress yourself, then dress the baby. Open the balcony or window, and then breastfeed (or bottle) your baby. While you are taking the stroller outside, the baby will be in her mother’s arms and will calmly fall asleep. All that remains is to put him in the stroller and enjoy the fresh air and white snow.

The third reason why a child refuses winter walks is the mother’s nervousness. The baby reacts very sensitively to the mood of its mother. Therefore, if the mother is not calm, then the child will be capricious.

In addition, babies have very developed reflex memory. If he once experienced discomfort, then he intuitively remembers this situation. Next time the child will react accordingly.

Children older than four months go on strike even more often. But they protest not so much against walking as such, as against sleeping in a stroller. The baby has grown up and is curious about what is happening around him. Lying in a stroller with the hood up, and even wrapped in a hundred clothes, is no longer interesting. The child is capricious and asks to be held. But carrying the baby in her arms for a long time will be tiring for the mother. Many mothers carry their babies in slings. You can get out of the situation this way. But it will be easier to lower the hood of the stroller for a while so that the child can look around. Many babies like to roll to the stroller while lying on their tummy. In this case, you should place a rolled towel under the baby’s chest (for convenience). The child will not fall asleep during a walk, but he will not cry. And you can get a good night’s sleep at home, in a comfortable bed.

My baby slept regularly for 2 hours during walks for 2 months. But the moment came when she no longer fell asleep on the street as soon as you took the stroller out of the entrance. At first she lies quietly for about 10 minutes, then she shouts something displeased, and then she starts crying in earnest, until you pick her up vertically on your shoulder and start entertaining her...

So I was puzzled, why is this happening? Why does my child cry in the stroller while walking? A lot of versions come to mind...

Maybe she just grew up, got stronger, and became interested in the world?

Maybe with the heat coming it won’t be so easy for her to sleep outside. The air is hot, the sun is shining brightly, it doesn’t let you sleep, there’s such excitement all around: children’s voices from the playground, cars passing by, birds chirping, neighbors drilling into the walls...

Or maybe I just taught her to sleep in my arms?

Now I do this: I go out with her, we silently ride in the stroller for half an hour, she looks at me, at the rattle-arc. When she starts acting up, I sit on the bench and breastfeed her. During feeding, she falls asleep soundly, and now she can be put in the stroller and rolled around. So she can sleep for 3 hours in a row! Once I put her to sleep so much that we slept through everything: evening feeding and bathing at 21.30. But nevertheless, she slept that night too.

So - if your baby also does not sleep during a walk, try to understand why? Maybe he's hungry? Even though you fed him before going out, he still wants it! In the air, the child's appetite worked up and he became alarmed, lies in the stroller and yells, asking for food.

Maybe the air in his stomach is bothering him? Then you need the baby to burp. If so, then the crying will stop almost immediately.

Maybe a wet diaper? Is the baby cold or is he hot? Now you know what to do, right?

It also happens that a child will never love a stroller. Then a sling will help you. Find a rental first - try it. And then, if you like it, buy it. The baby feels great in the sling.

It is quite possible that when the child sits down, all his whims will end. He will sit in the stroller, look at the street with interest - he will stop crying during the walk. And there you can take a nap. After all, a child sleeping during a walk is not only a rest for him, but also for you!

Good luck and patience!

A child's cry is an expression of his dissatisfaction. It is very important that the mother understands the baby and in time...

All mothers are very sensitive to the crying of a newborn, but sometimes it can be very difficult to understand why the child begins to cry loudly during a walk. It is believed that a baby's cry is a way to establish communication with the outside world. Eliminating the causes of crying is easy - the main thing is to find them in time.

The baby wants to sleep. This is one of the most common reasons for crying. A newborn can stay awake for no more than two hours. If he bursts out screaming on the street, count how much time the baby spent without sleep. Enough time passes before you feed him, dress him and take him outside. Try to pick up the baby and rock it - you will see that in five minutes the baby will fall asleep soundly.

The baby wants to eat. For the first three months of life, babies want to eat constantly, and in the fresh air their appetite only intensifies. The interval between the requirement to eat can range from thirty minutes to three hours. If the baby stretches his arms, smacks his lips and turns his head, it means he is hungry.

The baby needs communication. When you cover the stroller with a cover, protecting the child from rain, snow or wind, the baby begins to panic. He needs to see and feel his mother. First of all, physical contact is necessary. When a baby lies in a stroller for a long time and does not see his mother, he develops worse than his peers. In addition, from the stroller he cannot see what is happening around him, and this frightens him even more.

The baby is tired. A child who has received too many impressions on the street can easily become overexcited. In this case, screaming may be a manifestation of psycho-emotional or physical fatigue. The longer a child screams, the more difficult it will be to calm him down. At the first cry, carefully place the baby in the stroller and rock it. If this does not help, go home immediately - the familiar atmosphere will help the baby calm down.

The baby is sweating a lot or is cold. In newborns, thermoregulation is far from perfect. If we are warm, the child may be cold, because he is in a stroller without moving. You can tell that a baby is cold by its cold nose and hands. If the baby is hot, then the face begins to quickly turn red. Sometimes red dots appear on the body. When going outside, dress your child according to the weather. If you feel that you have dressed your baby incorrectly, return home.

The baby has a wet diaper. Modern diapers allow you to keep your baby's skin dry for several hours. However, most babies hate walking around in dirty diapers and communicate their displeasure by crying loudly. At first, the newborn may simply sob, but within half an hour he will burst into loud crying. Make sure that the diaper is completely dry when going for a walk.

The baby has colic. Until three months, almost all babies suffer from colic, and nothing can be done about it. The gases put a lot of pressure on the intestinal wall, then the stomach swells, and the baby suffers from pain. You can easily recognize when your baby is colicky. Warning symptoms usually appear at one time of the day, so you will have to find another time to get outside.
