Beaded wreath for the New Year. Master class crafts New Year's product Christmas beading Christmas wreath beads glue tape magnets wire Bead pattern wreath with New Year's socks

Christmas is one of the most favorite holidays along with the New Year. Many families around the world are looking forward to this evening. If you want to make a special gift for your loved ones with your own hands, try weaving an original Christmas wreath with traditional funny socks from beads.

A wreath like this is a unique opportunity to make a symbolic gift for Christmas with your own hands. This craft consists of a pair of socks, a bow and green branches gathered into a wreath.

To weave the product, prepare:

  • beads number eight. In total you will need four colors: orange, white, green and blue;
  • yellow bead (diameter six millimeters);
  • wire (diameter 0.25 millimeters);
  • thin fishing line and a beading needle.

The first item for a Christmas wreath will be a pair of socks. They are made using the parallel beading technique. Take a piece of wire, forty-five centimeters long, and string twelve pieces of orange beads onto it. Following him are thirteen more. Place this bottom in the center of the segment.

The tip from the side of the set of twelve beads, insert thirteen (from the second end).

In the process of tightening the weave, try to ensure that the beads are located in the center of the segment. As a result, you get the first two rows of beads.

Third row: collect twelve orange beads and pass the second end of the wire through them.

I'll tighten the weaving. Place the third row formed. over the previous one.

The fourth consists of ten beads of the same shade. Here you will need to pass the second tip into the first seven of them. Don't touch the other three for now and slow down the process.

Fifth r. - a low one of seven pieces and insert the second tip into it. Tighten the plexus.

All remaining rows of the sock are made in the same way. The number of beads in rows six to ten inclusive is seven. From the sixth to the eighth - orange, then - white.

To complete the sock for the Christmas wreath, you need to fix the wire, that is, pass either end through all the beads in the previous row. Then twist them together. Do not cut off the remaining part; you will need it later when assembling the entire wreath for Christmas.

The second sock is woven in exactly the same way. Only at the end, through the previous row, should you stretch the second wire tip in such a way that the ends after twisting are directed in the opposite direction in relation to the first sock.

Next, a bow is woven for a wreath for the Nativity. It uses blue beads and a yellow bead. The length of the wire is thirty-five centimeters. Collect a bead and twenty pieces of beads of the main color. Move the bottom to the center so that the bead is located in the middle.

Guide the wire tip from the side of the bead set back into the bead and pull it out until it stops.

On the second, the next twenty blue beads are collected and the wire is pushed back through the bead. After tightening, a bow gradually begins to emerge.

Now string the next twelve blue beads onto any wire, hold the last one and pass the tip back into the remaining eleven. Push all the beads tightly against the bow and tighten the process. The result is the first part of the tie. On the second wire, make the same second part. All that remains is to twist a couple of wires together and the bow is ready.

After the bow, a wreath with branches is made for Christmas (a pair of socks will be attached to it in the future). To create it, take a fishing line one hundred and fifty centimeters long, consisting of thirty-eight flowers. The wreath itself is a chain in the form of a kind of spikelet. How such a detail is woven can be seen in the following photos:

You can make a wreath from a chain in this way: connect the chain into a circle by the edges (the number of elements in the chain must be even). So, to connect, pass the needle with the working line into the first of the flowers at the beginning. The sequence is as follows: three white beads, and then all seven green beads and in the opposite direction three white beads.

Pull out the working line and the ends will move closer to each other.

Next, pass the needle into the adjacent bead from the last flower in front of the white beads.

When finished, pass the needle through three white beads of the second flower from the beginning of weaving.

Having pulled out the fishing line, each of the ends are connected to each other.

To secure the ends of the fishing line, insert them into a couple of beads on different sides and tie a knot. The excess can be trimmed off.

All the main components of the Christmas wreath are ready. All that remains is to assemble the product together.

A pair of socks is folded into a cross. The ends of the wires are twisted together. Leave the remaining 0.5 centimeters free.

In the area where the wire is attached to the wreath, a bow is screwed on. Trim off any remaining ends.

This completes the weaving of the wreath for the Nativity. Instead of a pair of socks, you can also weave bells.

Another master class with a video example will tell you about weaving a Christmas wreath. Such training is the easiest and fastest way to learn how to make this kind of crafts.

With the arrival of winter, we most often begin to think about the approaching favorite New Year holidays. There are so many pleasant chores ahead: coming up with a festive, special menu, preparing souvenirs, interesting thematic compositions and figurines for room decoration, purchasing gifts. You can start decorating your home in advance to bring the holiday atmosphere into the house and please the children.

Today’s article will tell you and demonstrate to you how to make New Year’s crafts from beads with your own hands. For the New Year and Christmas holidays, you can make interesting compositions, such as a Christmas wreath, a star for a Christmas tree, or original Christmas tree decorations made of beads. Try making such products with the whole family using the master class presented in this material. As a result, in just a few evenings you will get your own original New Year's beaded toys and wonderful holiday souvenirs and gifts.

Traditionally, during the New Year holidays, the doors of apartments and houses are decorated with a Christmas wreath. We are all accustomed to the fact that these compositions mainly consist of green Christmas tree branches with New Year's toys. This master class offers you an interesting idea, where a similar New Year's wreath is woven entirely from beads interspersed with autumn berries on it.

The color of the beads can be changed at your discretion, thus embodying your original ideas that will help you create unique New Year's bead decorations for decorating your room.

We begin the master class with an analysis of the materials and tools that we will need to weave a New Year's Christmas wreath with our own hands.

To weave leaves, prepare:

  • rounded beads No. 11 and triangular beads No. 9 in suitable shades;
  • copper wire No. 24 or 26 (115 meters long) and No. 30 (about 35 meters), respectively, in color for the selected beads.

For berries:

  • round beads, the same as for foliage (one piece - one berry);
  • beads (four to six millimeters in diameter) of an autumn tone with pearlescent tints;
  • wire number 30 (about eighty meters).

Other materials:

  • copper ring – 20.3 centimeters in diameter;
  • green wire No. 30 or the wire required for assembly under No. 28 in a silver shade;
  • brown floral ribbon (if you chose green as the color of the main material, then choose the ribbon to match it).

Pointed leaf weaving pattern

So, in order to make a Christmas wreath, you first need to weave the leaves. The approximate total number of such blanks is 150 pieces.

Beading of one branch with leaves occurs according to the French circular technique for weaving leaves with a pointed shape. This is one of the simplest weaving techniques, which is suitable even for beginners.

Having made three similar blanks, they need to be placed one on one on the front side with sharp tips up, as in the photo. We twist the wire bases together, thus forming a stem. Next, you need to fan out the resulting part and give the foliage the desired look with your own hands. This is done by bending them slightly outward in the center. The first part is ready. In a similar way, you will need to make forty-eight similar branches.

At the next stage, the master class moves on to creating berries for a New Year's craft. Make the number of such elements at your discretion. To start beading, prepare pieces of wire No. 30, 21 centimeters in length. We collect one bead on them, move it to the middle of the segment and fold the wire in half. Next, you need to straighten the ends and squeeze them together, as in the photo.

The next step is to thread the ends of the wire through a bead with a diameter of four millimeters and move it close to the bead. At the base of the bead, the ends are tied into a knot and gradually twisted together with your own hands. As a result, you should have a smooth wire leg. According to a similar pattern, continue weaving and form the remaining berries.

Now, you need to distribute the berries into forty-eight clusters. All clusters are held together by twisting the stems of the berries together. The height of such stems can vary at your discretion.

We attach each of the brushes with berries to a randomly selected branch with leaves and twist the wire bases into one thick stem. Please note that at this stage, as a result of twisting, the stem comes out quite thick, so for convenience we advise you to use pliers, which will facilitate this process.

Having completed the weaving process, we proceed to assembly. To finally form the Christmas wreath, take a copper ring and wrap it with floral tape.

Using spool wire or assembly wire, you need to attach the first branch with foliage to the ring. We place the leaves in the middle. Next, you need to wrap the ring to hide the wire base of the stems. If desired, the stems can be made shorter, which will greatly facilitate the process and help you assemble the Christmas wreath faster.

The next step is to attach the second branch to the ring. We place it 1.5 centimeters below the first. The leaves bend with their own hands to the left. We hide the sections behind the floral ribbon.

Next, we attach the third branch at a distance of 1.5 centimeters from the second. Here the leaves bend to the right, and the wire is hidden behind the floral tape. In the photo you can see what the reverse side of the product looks like.

Using a similar method, we continue to sequentially attach branches with foliage in increments of 1.5 cm, according to the following scheme: in the center, on the left, on the right sides, on the left, on the right sides. Using this method allows you to uniformly fill a Christmas wreath with foliage in a circle, the circumference of which is 61 cm. As a result, the resulting foliage is enough to cover the entire ring with woven blanks.

To evenly arrange the branches with leaves along the ring, divide the workpieces into four or two parts and close the ring proportionally with quarters or halves.

This concludes the beading and master class. You can show your own imagination and add interesting details to this Christmas wreath. These can be figurines of angels, balls, snowflakes and other New Year's crafts made of beads.

Christmas tree cones

The next master class will look at the process of weaving cones, which can turn into themed Christmas tree decorations, simple figurines or holiday gifts.

Let's consider the materials and tools needed to carry out this beading:

Instead of an oval bead, you can use a dried acorn of suitable size.

Take sparkles and brown beads. We make two cones out of them, starting from the top. Next, you need to take a thread about a meter long and put 24 beads on it. We collect this bottom into a ring and leave a free tip of 25 cm. We fasten the thread. Next, you need to move three beads away from the unused tip and string a sequin on the convex side, seven pieces of beads and another sequin, but on the other side - the depressed side.

The next step is to thread the needle through the fourth bead from the thread in the initial ring and in the opposite direction through the sequin and the final bead (as in the diagram). We string six pieces of beads and a sequin (from the pressed side) onto the thread. We pass the needle through the bead of the initial ring (a quarter of the previous sequin) and then into the sequin and the final one strung.

We make the next three similar arcs from beads with sparkles, just like the second one. We string five pieces and pass a needle through the beads under the first of the sequins, then through the sequin, the beads above it and in the opposite direction into the sequin and the bead under it.

The thread is brought out in the center of the initial arc and threaded through three beads here and the scale row is completed.

We make the next five or six similar rows. We string beads with sparkles for the next arc and thread the thread into the bead located in the middle of the adjacent arc in the previous row. Pay attention to the diagrams, which show the weaving process step by step.

At the next stage, you need to insert the bead into the resulting case of sparkles at the bottom.

Next, we make a row with three sparkles. The thread is threaded into the middle bead of the adjacent arc. We collect a bead, shiny material from the convex side, three beads, a sparkle (from the depressed side) and a bead. The needle passes into the middle beads of a pair of adjacent arches and into the final bead and shiny material.

Next set: three beads, shiny material on the concave side and another bead. The needle passes from the middle bead of a pair of subsequent arcs and in the opposite direction through the bead and sparkle. We string the next three things and push the silt into the shiny element and the bead from the initial set in the row. We tighten the lower part of the cover, threading the thread through the beads located in the middle in the arcs of the final row (this is a dotted line in the diagram). The thread is fixed and cut.

We take a needle and thread it with the thread that was left at the initial stage of casting in the upper part of the cone. We collect a shiny element from the pressed side and one bead. We thread the needle into the sequin in the opposite direction through the center in two adjacent arcs. We fix two shiny parts in a similar way and insert a thread into the initial sparkle in this row. After this, the thread is threaded with three beads on top of the sequins (dotted line in the diagram). All that remains is to tighten, secure and cut the thread.

Let's begin the process of weaving needles.

We prepare a wire of a little more than one meter and string the main material. Fold it in half and collect glass beads. This will be the first pine needle. We collect glass beads and beads on any of the ends and move them towards the initial coniferous part. The wire is threaded in the opposite direction into the glass beads. In a similar way, we alternately perform these coniferous elements on each of the tips. In total, you need to make about forty similar parts. The wire is folded in half and twisted. It is necessary to cover the remaining piece of wire with coniferous parts, leaving ten centimeters at the ends. Leave these needles without twisting.

Take the next piece and thread it through the bead located in the cone. We collect a bead of a brown shade and insert the active tip through the bead in the opposite direction (as in the diagram). If you decide to use an acorn instead of beads, the wire is attached to the case. It is necessary to make ten to fifteen coniferous parts on both sides of the cone. The wire with the needles is twisted. Next, the next bump is attached. We make coniferous elements almost to completion.

We put the resulting elements together and twist four wire pieces and needles. Along the free ends we collect one brown bead of large and small sizes. We thread the wire through large-caliber beads in the opposite direction. Twist the ends with the twig and remove unnecessary parts.

This composition with pine cones can decorate New Year's gifts or become a wonderful Christmas tree decoration.

Star made of beads and wire

Finally, I would like to offer you a simple master class for beginners, where an example of creating an exclusive New Year's star with your own hands is considered. Such figures will attract special attention to the tree under which the gifts are hidden.

The main emphasis in this example is on the manufacture of the product frame. Here, with your own hands, you need to give the correct shape and form the desired bend for the New Year's star.

For weaving, use beads of different shapes, shades and sizes. Prepare a copper wire of medium diameter and thinner, which is used in beading. Also, do not forget to prepare pliers and pliers.

Let's prepare all the details for work and begin creating the star. Take a thick piece of wire, fold it in half and twist it. It turns out to be a kind of braid. At the final stage, one of the ends is secured in a vice, and the other is twisted with pliers. After this, form the shape of a star from these elements, the rays of which should be the same size.

Using pliers, you need to make a loop at any of the corners and twist the ends of the wire. The result is small curled tails.

At the next stage, using beading wire, we wrap the entire surface of the New Year's star. The result is a solid foundation for the next step. Now, on the same thin wire, we make a string of beads of different shapes, colors and sizes and wind the resulting part over the entire surface of the star. At the end of this process, the ends of the wire must be fixed and hidden inside the figure.

Colored beads against a background of copper material attract the eye, and your star will not go unnoticed. Based on this master class, you can make figurines, products and gifts of various sizes. When creating a large star, carefully wrap the workpiece with wire so that there are no voids left in the composition.

And so let's get started. We twist a ring out of thick wire, tighten the loops as much as possible, but do not make them very flat, because a magnet will be attached to them.

The loops should be located close to each other

If there is not enough wire, you can grow it, or you can make several, just connect them later during assembly. Here is an option for splicing wires; the tails are visible in the photo (I left them specifically for the photo). How to grow a wire. We connect the two ends of the wire, twist it to the last loop and twist it between the loops. We put beads on the resulting wire again and make loops.

When the process of casting loops is completed, we proceed to winding our ring. We fix the free tail and begin to wind it around the ring in a spiral. As we work, we tighten our winding a little for density.

This is what it looks like. What's the piece for? For those who did not grow the wire while casting on the loops. When the piece is over, wrap the free end completely. Press for density and...

Let's expand on the next part. We apply the first loop to the already wound loops and wrap the free tip first, and then only the tape with loops.

This is how it should turn out.

Now let's make the flowers. Take the wire and large red beads again. We collect a lot of beads again, and then twist them one by one

We make a cluster of three beads in between and again a cluster of 3 beads...

We twist each cluster as in the photo.

This is what should happen.
