Step 1

Cut out pieces A, C, D, E, F, G and H from light gray jersey with a 7mm seam allowance. Cut part B from pink jersey without allowances.

A 4x, B 2x, C 1x, D 1x, E 2x, F 1x, G 2x, H 2x.

Step 2. Ears

Using fleece, iron parts B onto two parts A and stitch along the contour with a narrow zigzag.

Step 3

Place two pieces of each ear together, right sides inward, and stitch along the contour, leaving a small area open in the seam for turning.

Step 4

Turn the ears inside out, place them between parts C and D, right side to right side, and stitch.

Step 5

Pin each side piece E to pieces C and D, right side to right side, and stitch.

Step 6

Sew part F (bottom of head/chin) in the same way. Then turn the head out and stuff it with filling.

Step 7

Along the hole at the bottom of the head (the lower sections of the head parts), manually lay running stitches, then pull the thread well and tie it in a knot.

You should know it:

Step 8

Hand embroider the nose using pink embroidery thread. Then embroider the eyes with dark gray embroidery thread.

Step 9

Place pieces G right sides together and sew the middle back seam. Fold parts H right sides together and sew the middle front (belly) seam. Fold parts G and H right sides together, pin and stitch along the contour, leaving a small hole in the front for turning inside out. Notch in front.

Step 10

Turn the body inside out and stuff it with filling. Treat the neck as described in step 7. Press your finger on the body so that the hind legs come together a little. Sew the hind legs to the body by hand in this position - this is how the bunny will sit. Sew the head to the body by hand.

For the pom-pom tail, secure a not too long end of wool yarn between the tines of a fork in the middle. Wrap the yarn around the fork many times.

Step 12

Tie the winding in the middle with the free end of the yarn.

Step 13

Cut the winding on the sides along the fork.

Step 14

Trim the pompom tail evenly and sew it by hand to the body.

Spring is already in full swing, and very soon one of the most important Orthodox holidays will come - Easter.

Since childhood, we have become accustomed to the fact that the symbol of Easter is primarily colored eggs and Easter cakes. But gradually other symbols enter our lives. These include Easter bunnies - a symbol of fertility and fertility.

Last year, Krestik already talked about where this symbol came from, and also showed master classes on making a wonderful Easter bunny using various handicraft techniques.

The wonderful tradition of making Easter crafts with your own hands continues, and today we want to offer you other options.

Easter bunny made of plaster

To make such a rabbit we will need:

  • Gypsum (alabaster, etc.)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Empty tin can or plastic cup
  • Brush
  • Stirring stick
  • Kinder surprise egg
  • Plasticine
  • White acrylic paint
  • Thick colored paper
  • Dry grass, moss or decorative sisal
  • Ribbon
  • Small flower pot

Let's take a Kinder Surprise egg (these will be the molds) and grease them from the inside with vegetable oil (so that the plaster will then adhere well to the molds)

And plasticine will be needed for small rings - stands. A mold mounted in such a stand will definitely not turn over.

Take the dry gypsum mixture and dilute it with water to the consistency of liquid sour cream.

Pour the resulting mixture into molds. And leave until completely dry.

Carefully remove the frozen halves. If the edges are uneven, they must be sanded with sandpaper. We wash off the dust with water.

It is better to carry out this procedure with gloves!

Let's move on to decoration. We paint the blanks using white acrylic paint.

While the paint dries, cut out two blanks for the ears from colored paper.

And we collect everything using a heat gun.

As you can see in the photo, the edges of the ears are beautifully decorated with machine stitching. This can be done on a sewing machine, or you can do it easier. Punch small holes along the edge of the ears, and then draw a line with a regular pencil. You will get an imitation of machine stitching.

We draw a face for the rabbit and plant it in a pot. Decorate with grass or sisal and tie a ribbon.

It is not at all necessary to make the base for the rabbit yourself from plaster. You can take an empty chicken egg (a more fragile option) or buy a wooden blank.

And carefully sew up the hole with a hidden seam.

Use a ribbon or string to tighten the ears. Sasha is ready!

If desired, you can make a muzzle for a rabbit from contrasting fabric.

Original master class

Fabric rabbit

Textile bunnies are wonderful handmade gifts for Easter!

To make one such rabbit we will need:

  • cotton fabric
  • padding polyester or other filling for toys
  • small piece of cardboard (optional)

Cut out a template of the future rabbit from paper:

And we transfer the pattern to the fabric folded in half.

We pin it with pins so that the parts do not move and sew the two sides on a sewing machine, leaving a small unstitched space for turning it inside out (it is most convenient to leave a hole at the bottom, on the rabbit’s belly).

This method - first sew the parts and then cut them out - is great for small elements: the fabric does not fray and moves less.

Cut with small allowances. To make it easier to turn the toy inside out, we make small cuts in the bends.

Turn it inside out, carefully straightening all the corners.

And sew the ears in half. We carefully tie the threads.

We stuff the toy with padding polyester or other filler.

So that the rabbit can stand without support, you can make a stand for it. To do this, cut out a small oval from cardboard, and a slightly larger oval from cotton fabric. We cover the cardboard stand with fabric. We tighten the edges using a “forward needle” seam.

The Easter Bunny is a tradition with long roots. In Germany, already in the 16th century, the Easter bunny was a symbol of fertility and wealth. In North America, as well as some European countries, there is a custom to hide Easter eggs on Easter morning. The awakened children rush to search the entire house and as a result discover the Easter bunny in a “nest” with many colorful eggs. Sweets and toys are made in the shape of rabbits, as well as souvenirs that look like entire families of rabbits.

Like Valentine's Day (February 14), this tradition has become widespread in our country. Children really enjoy playing and making up stories about these cute toys. Therefore, rabbits must be present at Easter. Bright, funny figurines of Easter bunnies in baskets with colorful eggs will be a great table decoration, an excellent keepsake for your guests, as well as talismans that bring good luck and wealth. And sewing such an Easter bunny with your own hands is very simple. We offer you several options.

So, to sew the Easter bunny, we will need small pieces of brightly colored chintz or any other cotton fabric.

Make an Easter bunny pattern out of paper, attach it to the fabric (you can pin it with pins) and cut out two parts. Don't forget seam allowances.

On the front side we embroider a muzzle. To prevent the embroidery from stretching the fabric, a small piece of calico is placed on the inside, but it does not need to be placed.

We immediately sew on the decoration - on our sample it is a heart.

Sew the rabbit together, leaving a small hole for stuffing. If desired, you can insert a tag on the side.

We turn the toy inside out, stuff it with padding polyester or other toy filling and sew up the hole with a hidden seam.

To make the second rabbit, we also prepare a pattern and cut it out with seam allowances.

On a sewn oval made of plain fabric (you can use thin fleece) we embroider a muzzle.

We cut out the paws from a fabric of a different color and sew them together.

Turn it inside out and stuff it with padding polyester.

We fold the two parts of the future toy with the front sides inward. Mark the places where the paws will be

We insert the paws inside:

And sew them together, leaving a small hole for turning them inside out.

Turn the sewn rabbit right side out. We stuff it with padding polyester and sew the hole with a hidden seam. The rabbit is ready!

Easter bunny tilde

Another variety of Easter bunnies are tilde bunnies. You can draw the tilde Easter bunny pattern yourself, or you can use this option:

To make such an Easter bunny, it is better to use cotton or linen fabrics.

The face of such a rabbit is embroidered with thread or painted with acrylic paints. Clothes for tilde rabbits can be sewn or knitted.

Napkins in the shape of an Easter bunny

An interesting decoration for the holiday table will be linen napkins folded in the shape of a rabbit.

Step 1. Take a square starched linen napkin and fold it lengthwise into three layers.

Step 2. Mentally divide the napkin vertically in half. The upper right corner needs to be folded down so that a triangle is formed from the right half of the napkin.

Step 3. We bend the left corner in the same way.

Step 4. Now we bend the lower right corner up diagonally towards the center.

Step 5. We do the same with the left corner.

Step 6. We have a rhombus. Again we take the right corner and wrap it towards the center again.

Step 7. We wrap the left corner in the same way.

Step 8. Turn the almost finished “Easter bunny” 90 degrees and bend its “tail”.

Step 9. Expand the “ears”.

The Easter Bunny has become a symbol of Easter quite recently, and if you ask someone for what such merits, not everyone will answer. Not to mention the people of the older generation who had never heard of such a character. However, there is no single version of how the rabbit became an Easter symbol.

According to one version, the Easter bunny became the savior of the well-known ark. Legend has it that during its long voyage the ark received a hole in the bottom and would have inevitably sunk. If it weren’t for our long-eared hero, who covered it with his tail, for which he received such a high role in the main Christian holiday.

The second version takes us back to the pagan pre-Christian era, to Germany. Rabbits were considered the main assistants of the goddess of fertility and spring rebirth, Eostre, whom the Germans revered most of all. And due to the fact that Easter is always celebrated in the spring, the rabbit became the Easter rabbit.

But the idea to assign rabbits the unusual role of laying eggs is attributed to Goetta himself. To entertain his guests, the poet hid colorful eggs under the bushes in his garden, and when they found them, he claimed that the Easter bunny had brought them. To this day, children on Easter morning look for nests with chocolate eggs and gifts, believing that, of course, the rabbit brings them to them.

When this tradition came to us, our children liked it and they also began to make nests for the rabbit. However, adults are not averse to decorating their home with such a cute Easter symbol. If you also want to make an original gift for your child, family or friends, we suggest you sew the Easter bunny yourself using the master class we prepared.

Easter bunny made of fabric

Materials needed for sewing a rabbit:

  • pattern;
  • small scraps of fabric (not necessarily plain, but with a small pattern);
  • filler (sintepon, holofiber).

Operating procedure

We offer you two options for rabbit patterns to choose from. They are sewn the same way, they differ only in the design.
  1. We print (copy from the screen) the pattern you like.
  2. Fold the piece of fabric into two folds. We chop off the material with the translated outline in several places with pins, then stitch it on a sewing machine. Leave 2-3 cm unstitched at the bottom.
  3. We cut out the workpiece. In places where the contour turns, we additionally cut the fabric. We turn our workpiece to the right side, then stuff it tightly with padding polyester. Since the rabbit figurine is small, it is better to use ball filler for stuffing.
  4. The opening can be stitched. It is better to do this with a hidden seam (see photo). We tie a satin ribbon around our rabbit’s neck and tie a bow. DIY Easter bunny is ready.

Rabbit pattern from video:

Easter egg-rabbits

Materials needed for sewing Easter bunny eggs:

  • pattern;
  • textile;
  • filler (sintepon, holofiber);
  • embroidery threads (iris, floss).

Operating procedure

  1. We lay out the proposed pattern on the material. It should be noted that a prerequisite is compliance with the split line indicated on the pattern. The grain line always coincides with the edge line, but if there is no edge on the cut, pull the fabric. Along the side where the material stretches slightly, there is a split thread.
  2. We translate the pattern of all the details, mark the top. We cut out the blanks, taking into account allowances (4-6 mm) for the seams. Place the two parts of the egg with their right sides facing each other and baste or pin together. We start sewing from the top of the egg, marked on the fabric, leaving 1 cm of the seam unstitched at the bottom.
  3. We turn the workpiece right side up and apply the third part, not forgetting to take into account where the top of the egg is. We stitch in the same way as the first two parts. All that remains is to sew all three parts along the last seam.
  4. We turn the workpiece inside out through the slot at the bottom, then fill it with padding polyester. Our ears are already stitched, turned inside out and ironed. All that remains is to assemble our egg into a cute bunny egg.
  5. We sew up the hole, if possible with a hidden seam. We do not cut the thread, but bring the eggs to the top and tighten them a little. A small indentation should form at the bottom of the base.
  6. We sew the ears to the egg and bring the thread to the nose area. Having made a small seam, we take the thread down and tighten it a little - a slight relief is formed in the area of the nose. All that remains is to embroider the nose of our rabbit egg.
  7. We begin to embroider with satin stitch, decreasing the stitch size by 1-2 threads each time. We embroider the mouth using small stitches. We bring the thread down and cut it.
  8. We paint the eyes with acrylic paints. We tie a bow on the ears. Meet the Easter bunny and egg in one bottle.

Now you know how to make Easter souvenirs with your own hands. Success in creative work.

Good day everyone. It's no secret that very soon there will be Easter - the warmest and most sincere holiday. It is also filled with special colors, and allows you to gather all your loved ones, relatives and loved ones on this day. Let me remind you that this year we will celebrate the Holy Resurrection of Christ on April 8th.

If you are a frequent visitor to my blog, then you are already fully armed and ready for this event. Because we have already discussed the main points in detail: we have learned how to bake and cook, and we will even be able to creatively approach the design of the house and the table.

But today I have another idea for you. And I want to talk to you about the cute fluffy symbol of the holiday, the Easter bunny (hare). This tradition came to us quite recently, from Germany, but is already gaining momentum and is very popular.

This product can act as an independent gift toy, souvenir, or be in the form of a stand for paints, or act as a basket for other holiday attributes, as well as decorate the interior.

This time I have selected the most beautiful and original, in my opinion, options for crafts, and for your consideration I present the detailed processes of their production. I remind you that all works are taken from the free access of the Internet.

Master class on making an Easter bunny with pockets for eggs

Let's start with the most popular product that has flooded the entire Internet. It’s understandable why, since the following rabbits are a real find, because it’s not difficult to do, but looks simply impeccable.

So, pay attention! For those who know how to crochet, I suggest making these cute little animals. I am sure that not only children will like this decoration.

We will need: threads of different colors, a hook, scissors, a needle, eyes, a nose, a mustache, a ribbon, a cone.

Work process:

1. We will start by knitting a pocket. To do this, use a beige thread to dial 78 in. p. and connect them in a circle, then 3 c. p. rise and 11 tbsp. s/n, then 1 tubercle (1 yarn over, then insert the hook into the base loop and pull the thread, this must be repeated 3 times. Then grab the thread and pull through the loops to the last, and then through the last two loops). * 12 tbsp. s/n, 1 tubercle - repeat from * 4 times and close the row of connections. Art.

2. So you will need to knit 4 more rows, while near the tubercle in each row increase by 1 stitch. s/n, so that in the fifth row between the tubercles there are 16 columns. Knit the tubercles accordingly into the tubercle of the previous row, inserting the hook below the loop. Having finished knitting, fasten the thread and cut it.

3. Now let's see how to tie the torso. You need to dial 78 v. p. and connect them in a circle. Next, knit according to this pattern:

1st row: 6c. p. and 1 v. n turn, 6 tbsp. b/n and 1 in. n. turn;

2nd row: 6 tbsp. b/n;

3-4 row: at the beginning add 1 tbsp. b/n, 6 tbsp. b/n and 1 in. n. turn;

5-10 row: 7 tbsp. b/n;

Rows 11-16: Decrease 1 st in each row. b/n. Tie white and beige ears together.

5. Tie the muzzle: 1 row - with white thread 5 in. n.+1 v. n. turn; 2nd row - 4 tbsp. b/n, 1st century. n. turn; 3-4 row - 4 tbsp. b/n; 5-6 row - decrease 1 tbsp. b/n in each row.

6. All that remains is to put everything together. Fold the body and pocket together with the edges and tie 1 row of stitches. b/n white thread. And along the top edge of the pocket, knit 1 row of st. with a white thread, while grasping the tubercles of the body.

7. Thread a decorative cord or ribbon into the holes in the neck. Fill the head with filler, then sew on the muzzle, glue on the eyes and nose, and make mustaches.

It is best to place the finished bunny on a flower pot or cardboard cone.

By the way, I found this craft on the excellent website Country of Mothers.

And I want to show you in what colors such a product can still be made.

And for your convenience, I’m sending you a photo description of such a cute souvenir. All you have to do is save and print, and then link.

Or maybe you’ve already made such a cute egg cup? If yes, then don’t be upset, but read on, there will be many other options.

Or such delicate work, don’t forget to starch it!

But here is a version of a knitted basket with our big-eared animal, beauty and nothing more.

You see how many knitted ideas there are, choose what you want.

How to make an Easter bunny from felt?

We will need: sheet felt of different shades; colored floss threads; sewing needle; colored thin satin ribbons; synthetic winterizer or any other suitable filler; a simple pencil; scissors; paper.

Work process:

1. First make a craft template on a piece of paper or cardboard. You need two Easter eggs of different sizes and one bunny.

2. Now cut out the hare template and transfer it to a piece of sheet felt folded in half, cut out two identical parts.

3. Remove the back part for now, but we will decorate the front part with embroidery. Start with a flower, forming its petals from loops of thread, securing each with small chain stitches.

4. The centers of the petals need to be filled with stitches.

5. Take a thread of a different color and form voluminous stitches in the center and do not completely thread the needle through the fabric to the front side, wind the turns of the thread on it, and then stick it back into the fabric through a small gap and pull the entire thread through the turns, as a result get an original volumetric stitch.

6. Make three or four of these volumetric stitches.

8. Take black threads and embroider the muzzle, eye and nose with them.

9. Now you need to connect the front part to the back. Sew them evenly along the edge, starting from the bottom right edge and working upwards with a contrasting color floss thread. Use a regular needle-first stitch. The stitches should be smooth, uniform and small in size.

10. At the top of the ears, insert a piece of thin satin ribbon, approximate length 4-5 cm. Form a loop and sew into the toy.

11. When your workpiece is almost stitched, fill it with padding polyester, which you then distribute evenly inside.

12. When sewing up the bottom of the toy, insert another piece of ribbon, 3-4 cm long, in the center.

13. This is what you should end up with.

15. On the front of the egg, embroider a decorative flower with a voluminous center using colored threads, just like the embroidery on the hare.

16. Connect both halves, starting from the bottom right edge, sew with a needle first stitch.

17. In the upper central part of the egg, insert the end of a piece of satin ribbon, the beginning of which is sewn into the lower part of the animal.

19. Now cut out the template for the large egg. Draw out onto fabric.

20. On the front part, also embroider in the form of a flower.

21. Sew the parts by sewing into the central part the free end of a piece of ribbon, the beginning of which was sewn into the lower part of the previous small egg.

22. Stuff the workpiece with padding polyester and sew it until the end. Cover the junction of the ribbon and the egg with another bow.

23. You can also add one small bow at the junction of the first piece of ribbon with the bottom of the toy.

24. Your souvenir is ready!! The result is an Easter pendant.

You can make many more souvenirs from felt. Below are options for finished work.
